I have been having SO much fun making up new recipes using the International Delight Light Iced Coffees!  I had printed off a few International Delight Iced Coffee coupons and bought a few cartons of both the Vanilla and Mocha and LOVE them both!

The latest idea I had was to create a healthier version of the McDonald's Frappe – you know those delicious Iced Coffee beverages that you get at McDonald's that has TONS of sugar!

I thought I would try my hand at making my own with half the calories, fat and sugar and I have to say it tastes even BETTER than the McDonald's Version.

I found the International Delight Light Iced Coffee at my Walmart – you can see my details on my shopping trip in my Google Plus Album.

The nutritional facts when you compare my version to the McDonald's Version are pretty signifiant- and I liked the taste of mine much better!

Here is my recipe so you can try it for yourself:

Homemade Vanilla Mocha Frappe Recipe (Imitation of McDonald's Version)

    • 1 cup of International Delight Vanilla Light Iced Coffee
    • 3/4 cups of Vanilla Ice Cream
    • 2 tsps of chocolate syrup (more if desired)
    • Add 2 ice cubs if desired (I prefer mine without)

Blend it all together in a blender, and serve with Whipped Topping and chocolate syrup drizzle.
