I know that’s a bold statement, but I stand by it. I’ve made TONS of slow cooker recipes. You can’t just take a normal recipe you like and dump it in a crockpot. The slow cooker isn’t a magician’s hat. You can’t just throw in some ingredients, and *POOF* out comes a magical meal. Some things work with a slow cooker and some things don’t.

For literally years I’ve researched slow cooker recipes. Not simply tried others’ recipes, but figured out how the slow cooker cooks different types of food – proteins, vegetables, starches, etc. I even used a Crockpot exclusively for 100 days straight and compiled a list of do’s and dont’s.

Everything I’ve learned has been put into these slow cooker recipes. They have been tested and tweaked to make sure you’re entire family will rave. In most of these recipes, there’s an extra step at the end that takes them over-the-top! This final step is well worth the extra 10 minutes right before serving.
