Russian Tea is a warm orange cinnamon drink it is the perfect hot beverage for those cold winter nights. You can make it with decaffeinated tea so your kids can drink it too!

Russian Tea is my favorite hot drink during the Winter months – it has the perfect hint of cinnamon and cloves while offering a warm orange and tea flavor.  This Russian Tea Recipe was handed down to me by my mother-in-law, and it has since become my 8-year-old son's favorite beverage when he comes inside from playing in the snow.

Here is what you need in order to make it, it is pretty simple. Just mix them all together in a jar and then you have it!

Here are the ingredients that you need to make your own Russian Tea Mix.

Russian Tea Recipe

  • 1 1/2 cup Tang
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Instant Tea (I use Decaf so my kids can drink it too)
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon drops

  1. Mix together in an airtight jar and keep in a cupboard.
  2. Boil water and add 2 heaping teaspoons for every 6 ounces of water.

This Russian Tea recipe is simple and easy to make. This is always the hit of my holiday parties! You can also make it decaf for your children to enjoy after coming in from the cold.

I can guarantee you that this will be your favorite drink once you try it!
