Every year we get to that time when we have to decide what to get your kids teachers, I have some fun and practical ideas that you can gather together to make some fun and memorable baskets for those special teachers in your lives.
Hallmark has a great selection of Teacher Ornaments to give – we like to pick these up for our kids teachers every year! They also have a great selection of gift cards and gift boxes.
Another idea is to get a classroom gift – find an item that you can give the teacher to keep in their classroom. I got this Horton Hears a Who DVD on Amazon for $3.99, paired it with a few packages of popcorn, and you have a class movie day!
Another idea is to get is a classroom book – my favorite book to give this year is the Dave Ramsey’s Best Christmas Ever book – this book focuses on teaching your child contentment during the Christmas season. It comes with an Audio CD so that your child can listen and follow along with the story too!
Who doesn’t LOVE getting chocolate – and we are seeing a lot of great coupons for Hershey’s Chocolate. Make a gift basket with some items from the dollar store, and create an affordable gift basket + it’s delicious. Hershey’s is the best chocolate in my opinion 🙂
The Hershey Company’s complete 2012 Holiday line-up can be found at retailers nationwide. For more information on Hershey’s® seasonal products, as well as fun Holiday party ideas, homemade crafts, games and delicious new recipes, visit www.CelebratewithHersheys.com.
Another popular gift that I like to give is anything coffee related.
Starbucks continues its tradition of being the perfect destination for holiday gifting needs – from stocking stuffers and hostess gifts, to the ideal presents for coffee and tea lovers – and a seasonal beverage or treat.
I love taking one of their Seasonal Mugs, stuffing it with Starbucks Via coffee, and placing a Starbucks gift card inside.
What are your favorite Teacher Gifts – I would love to hear your ideas!
